My specialty is writing books for kids, teachers, and parents featuring nature topics, hands-on science activities, and cool experiments. I also write about using kids’ books to teach in fun ways, and teaching and learning on a budget (you really can teach great stuff for free!).
I believe that kids learn best when they are free to explore the world around them and discover scientific truths themselves. I love the surprises found in nature, and hope to encourage that same delight in the out-of-doors with readers – adults AND kids!
